The patented design of the tread is extremely simple yet amazingly effective in reducing slips and falls in wet or dry environments. An independent testing organization has certified that the Handi-Tread, tested in accordance with the NFSI B-101 A testing standard, exceeds the NFSI and the ANSI 1264 standard for coefficient of friction by almost double (wet or dry). The S.C.O.F averaged .83 dry and .96 wet for The Handi-Tread. The solid aluminum structure also allows for washing (or power washing) with virtually any cleaner on the market.
