HandiTreads Non-Slip Deck Strips

If your pressure treated wood, trex or composite decking just needs a little more traction, then the HandiTreads Non-Slip Deck Strips are an excellent solution, offering bare-foot safety in wet weather.  The 48" by 1" aluminum strips have an electrically bonded colored epoxy tint with an embedded polyester grit that creates a non-slip texture that feels like 80 grit sand paper, or an emory board.  The non-slip deck strips provide instant traction yet remain comfortable to walk on with bare feet.

While the deck strips are not meant to provide traction under snow or ice, (that’s what our deck treads are for) HandiTreads Deck Strips continue to provide traction under frost, making part or the entirety of your deck safer when the weather turns cold. 

To install, simply use a power drill to drill in the color-matched screws through the 5 holes of the deck strip. It may also be helpful to drill a pilot hole before screwing down the deck strip.
